Session Synopsis:

Risks are a fact of life.  We deal with them on a daily basis, and we instinctively employ strategies to manage them appropriately.  Uncertainties are inherent in every project, and we need to apply a structured approach to effectively manage risks to ensure projects success.

A Project Manager manages each of the Project Management 9 knowledge areas, but project risks stand out.  In addition to being one of the knowledge areas, risks are a component of each of the other areas as well.

What risks to manage … how do we rank risks … who do we get involved in the process … how do we transition form qualitative Risk Management into quantitative Risk Management … are some of the questions that will be addressed in tonight’s speech.
